Outlook 98 - 2000 Setup Note: Because of the mailbox limit, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted.
  • From the Tools menu, select Services.
  • Double-click on Internet E-Mail.
  • Select the Advanced tab and look under Delivery.
  • Ensure that the Leave a copy of messages on server box is unchecked.
  • Click OK to save.
Microsoft Outlook 98 / 2000 Configuration
  1. Outlook.
  1. From the Tools menu, select Services.
  1. Click once on Internet E-mail to highlight it.
  2. Click on the Properties button.
    Note: If Internet E-mail is not listed:
    1) Click on the Add button.

    2) Click once on Internet E-mail to highlight it.
    3) Click OK.
  1. In the Mail Account text box, type LogicSouth
  2. In the Name text box, type your name.
  3. In the Organization text box, type in your organization or you can leave this field blank.
  4. In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example: username
  5. In the Reply address text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example: username
  6. Select the Servers tab.
  1. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type mail.logicsouth.com
  2. In the Incoming mail (POP3) text box, type mail.logicsouth.com.

    Outlook 98 users:
    Under "Incoming Mail Server," check the circle next to Log on using.
Warning!
Do not check the circle next to Log on using Secure Password Authentication.
  1. In the Account name text box, type your member ID.
  2. In the Password text box, type your password.
    Note: This feature is optional. Leave this field blank, if you want Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you access your e-mail.
  3. Select the Connection tab.
  1. Under "Connection," check the circle next to Connect using Internet Explorer or 3rd Party Dialer".
  2. Under "Use the following Dial-Up Networking Connection" Choose LogicSouth
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  1. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type 25.
  2. In the Incoming mail (POP 3) text box, type 110.
  3. Click OK to exit.
