Netscape Mail 4.7 Setup Note: Because of the mailbox limit, you must complete the following steps to prevent your mail from being blocked or deleted.
  • From the Edit menu, select Preferences.
  • Click on Mail and News and select Mail servers.
  • Select mail.logicsouth.com and click Edit.
  • Select the POP tab and ensure that the Leave mail on server box is unchecked.
  • Click OK to save.
Netscape Messenger 4.7 Configuration
  1. Netscape Messenger.
  2. From Edit menu select Preferences.
  3. Click the + next to Mail & Groups and select Identity.
  4. In the Your Name text box, type your name.
  5. In the Your Email text box, type your e-mail address.
    For example: yourusername

  6. Under Mail & Groups, select Mail Server.

     

  7. Under Incoming Mail Servers, click once on Mail to highlight it.

  8. Click on the Edit button.

  9. In the Server Name text box, type in: mail.logicsouth.com

  10. In the Server Type text box, select POP3 Server.
  11. In the User Name text box, type in your username.
  12. Select the POP tab.
  1. Ensure that Leave messages on server is NOT checked.
  2. Click OK.
  1. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type in mail.logicsouth.com
  2. In the Outgoing mail server user name text box, type in your username.
  3. Under Use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing messages,
    select Never.
  4. Click OK to exit.
