E-mail Setup - Outlook 97 SR 1 & 2 Setup
Note: Because of the mailbox
limit, you must complete the following steps to prevent your
mail from being blocked or deleted.

From the Tools menu, select Services.
-
Double-click on Internet E-Mail.
-
Select the Advanced tab and look under
Delivery.
-
Ensure that the Leave a copy of messages on
server box is unchecked.
-
Click OK to save.
Microsoft Outlook 97 (sr1, 2) Configuration
- Outlook.
-
From the Tools menu, select Services.

-
Click once on Internet E-mail to highlight it.
-
Click on the Properties button.
Note: If Internet
E-mail is not listed: 1) Click on the Add
button.
2) Click once on Internet
E-mail to highlight it. 3) Click OK.
-
In the Mail Account text box, type LogicSouth.
-
In the Name text box, type your name.
-
In the Organization text box, type in your
organization or you can leave this field blank.
-
In the E-mail address text box, type your e-mail
address.
For example: yourusername
-
In the Reply address text box, type your e-mail
address.
For example: yourusername
-
Select the Servers tab.
-
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type mail.logicsouth.com.
-
In the Incoming mail (POP3) text box, type mail.logicsouth.com.
-
Under "Incoming Mail Server," check the circle next to
Log on using.
-
In the Account name text box, type your member
ID.
-
In the Password text box, type your password.
Note: This feature is optional. If you want
Outlook to prompt you for your password each time you access
your e-mail, leave this field blank. Warning! Do not check the
circle next to Log on using Secure Password
Authentication.

Select the Connection tab.
-
Under "Connection," check the circle next to I use a
Modem to Access my E-mail
-
Under "Use the following Dial-Up Networking
Connection", the Scroll Box Choose LogicSouth.
-
Select the Advanced tab.
-
In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) text box, type
25.
-
In the Incoming mail (POP 3) text box, type
110.
-
Click OK. You will be prompted to restart Outlook
in order for the configuration changes to take effect

Click OK.
-
Click OK again to exit.
